I've seen some favorite submission threadsbefore, how about favorite path thread.
I'll start. I would for sure call this my #1 prefered path:
Half guard(bottom)-HG lockdown(bottom)- whip up- old school sweep- twister side- mount-chopping block-knee on belly-arm trangle choke.

Mission Control - New York - Chill Dog - Jiu Claw - Omoplata Sweep - Leg Catch Knee Bar
If I can't catch the leg
TSC - Fishnet - Truck - Twister :D
HG-lockdown-whip up-electric chair sweep/sub-twister side - modified scarf- then take whatever i can get from there :) I'm not good on bottom awful from full guard so i let people pass to get to my lockdown and use that to get to side control and ride tight and try to usually get a headarm or some sort of arm lock.
mission control - meat hook - reverse triangle - underhook the trapped arm and shrug it over like you would from invisible collar - deep hook - swim move- spider web - armbar

Sweet sweet basic path for me.
Most effective for me has been: knee to centerline guard break> double under pass> TSC> traditional side control> destroy the near arm> americana. It's so simple and yet so damn effective the way coach teaches it. I'm dead serious. You think you know an americana until Coach Zog teaches it. I barely have to move an inch to get the tap.
My actual favorite is the one we're working on now.
Traditional side control> destroy the near arm> twister side> tip toe mount> "let it happen" (kind of an in between position that can either lead to an arm triangle or s mount)> s mount> spiderweb> triangle.
I love this path. I gotta get the reps in to really get good at it though. I've only landed it once.

For me, using the traditional path against guys who know the system is a little difficult. I go up against guys who usually just 'Home Alone Defense' and posture their way out. But of course if the guy gives me a free New York, I'll shoot for the Invisible Collar.
This is the path we are currently working on, been working on it about 2 months with some serious help from ZOG, can't say it's a favorite yet, but getting there!
Side control(bottom)>jailbreak>ham sandwhich attempt>x-guard>heisman>sickle sweep> knee knot>hand pressing foot flex.
Butterfly guard>Deep 1/2 Sweep>escape out the back door>take the back>armbar
pull guard > mission control > new york > chill dog > jiu claw > always have trouble finishing the omaplata, so I just go for the twist-o-plata instead.

I have been hitting this one a lot: Quarter clinch> mini stomp> lock down> Old School or Plan B> Bulldozing until your opponent is vertical(like a darce)> Deep Hook> Leg Curl the head> to either Half Spider web or Spider web> Arm Crush, Slide, X break, Silverado, Fihlo, Triangle, Bomba, Centerfold, or one of the many other finishes from Spider Web.
Default when other shit not working or I'm felling lazy: Sucker drag> Wrestler> Truck
Haven't done it in a while but found a bunch of success: Snap down> Wrestler's Gator roll(bulldog/ventriloquist)> Back roll> Mounted Giulotine or Mono Control> Mounted Gogo/loco/facial/straight jacket

If the opponent doesnt put in a good wizzer i take the back with one hook in and go for the twister.
If i only whip up to my side i go for the old schoolsweep or electric chair sweep, depending on my opponents leg positioning, sweep and pass to twister side control smashing the face, if the opponent turns into me ill go for the grapevine, twister roll to the truck then twister
If the opponent stays on their back i go to mount.
From mount if opponent reaches around my waist i go for gogoplatas, if i get a high mount i like to take an ar and go to spiderweb and go for armcrush or triangle from there, and if i cant get high enough or isolate an arm i bait them into trapping my leg in quarter guard and i roll for the twister.

Pull guard -> Break posture -> Homie Control -> Take the back -> Choke the piss out of them with either the Dan Severn or the RNC
Full guard -> Break postre -> Mission Control/ Free New York/ Crack head Control -> Pump -> Bulgarian Neck Tie ( Yea, I devised a move and I'm working on making it pretty darn good ).
Full guard -> Break postre -> Mission Control/ Free New York/ Crack head Control -> Pump -> Deep Hook -> Swim Move -> Perfect Spider Web -> Stake
Armdrag to back, Ura-Nage, side control, mount, head and arm, head and armpit, chopping block, arm triangle
