Eddie on joe's podcast, but no talk of joe's bbelt !!!!

i got super excited to listen to Eddie & Joe talk jiujitsu & joe's promotion, but brian ruined it again by running his mouth about super heros & how he wants to get fucked like a chick. for 1 hour & 15 mins, & Eddie was noticeably board out his mind. & when they finally got around to talking jits & mma brian couldn't wait to change the subject as usual because he's insecure. the shows are soooo much better when he's not there or doesn't talk, they should just turn his mic off, the josh barnette episode was tight because brian couldn't fuck it up. when Eddie's on theres a bunch of 10th planet heads that want too hear him talk jits for 2 hours. maybe Eddie should start a 10th planet podcast,

God dammit Brian...

I think redban & Joe was trying to keep a nice flow to the podcast while Eddie came down a little, you could tell he was to high on some indica the 1st hr.
But I was hoping Joe would get into his BB as well.

yeah, definitely a bit of a disappointment that we didn't get to hear more about Joe's black belt.

i think Eddie was just being nice while brian hijacked the first hour and a half, but you can tell he wasn't digin the first hour, it was like joe and brian talkin with Eddie just like whatever man. maybe they can do one with just Joe and Eddie, & let the adults talk for a while

They did, it was fucking awesome. All they talked about was Jiu Jitsu, conspiracy therories, comedy, more Jiu Jitsu and weed. One of my favorite podcast Joe has done. :)

I was thinking Brian was hijacking the show also! But Joe allows it. On another note. If you watched the UFC weigh ins I think Llyod Irvin congratulated Joe on his Black belt when Easton came up to weigh in.

yeah i feel like Brian's occasional olive garden jokes are the only really funny thing he ever does, i mean i'm as immature as they come and dont find any of it but that funny. Joe needs to get tech-savvy then he can do some without Brian constantly ruining discussions and throwing in pointless stuff :/

I love the Joe Rogan podcast but if there is 2 things i know it is, 1 - to skip the first 10 minutes, i have heard the fleshlight and nootropics speech too many times now. And 2 - Redban is going to start going on about myfreecams/porn LOL. :-)

Definitely a monthly 10p podcast would be awesome. Eddie could have a couple different soldiers on each time. Plus other prominent members of the jj community. Would be very cool. Although I doubt he has time he is so busy. :-)

I believe the reason for the Redban hijacks are that there are other viewers besides the Jiujitsu/MMA community. While many of us find Redban's antics stupid, you can tell he's trying to appeal to whatever audience there is besides us. As sad as it may sound, not everyone wants to hear about jiujitsu.

they usually talk anchient aliens when giorgio is on, comedy when joey is on, mma when fighters are on ect. why not jiujitsu when a jiujitsu master is on, joe even had to stop brian from interrupting & say hey dude were talking mma now. that dude is just selfish & inconsiderate. the bbelt is a major life achievement i'm sure Eddie & Joe would have made some great conversation about it. if Joe hadn't just been promoted it would have been more tolerable. but it was 100% annoying

He does that shit all the time. He's a sedentary, cigarette smoker who rarely breaks a sweat so jits and MMA bore the fuck out of him. Cmon man do u wanna live past 50? Don't want to be a hater but that's reality. Joe needs to tell that dude off air to quit interrupting the flow of the fighting conversations or find another guy who is interested in combat sports to run the podcast.

I have grown to love Redban. I think his whole "Man-Child" persona is pretty funny. Behind the scenes though, the man is a technological genius. I think he brings a perfect balance to the show. Sometime he interrupts at the wrong time, but Joe keeps him in check most of the time. If they wanted to talk about the promotion, I believe it would have come up. Maybe they all were too blown to remember, ha ha. I'm sure it will come up in the near future. We also gotta remember that Redban is half playing a character. If Joe didn't approve, Redban wouldn't be there. Just my 2cents.

What were they supposed to do have Eddie bring it up so Joe can re-give his acceptance speech? They did that already, the video is up.

I thought I must have been the only one who couldn't stand Redban. He annoys the piss out of me very regularly. It's not even just when its MMA -- as long as he has some stupid shit to say, he'll shit out whatever verbal diarrhea he can muster. Sometimes Joe gets things back on track but most often Brian has ruined the flow or the train of thought and whatever they WERE talking about -- THAT I WAS REALLY INTERESTED IN -- gets dropped never to be picked up again. I wish Joe would jump in a LOT more often and just say: "Dude, we're in the middle of a conversation here. If you can't add anything, just be quiet."

Sorry guys, I smoked WAY too much before the show, I was blitzed! I tried to make it as entertaining as possible but I gotta admit, I was flat. Brian is super nice to me, he's got a huge heart, but yalls are right, we don't have much in common at all but it's Joe's call to have him on the show with me, I just stay out of that kind of stuff, I'm just happy and mad appreciative that Joe puts me on his show on a regular basis :)

Exactly. Look, I've been watching and listening to the podcast since the very first one. I get that he is a big help and it couldn't run without him. Just my 2 cents but I think Redban is ok. His timing could use some work, but I think having him on the show is fun. Even if it is to find yourself thinking "WTF is that dude going off about?" That is like a comedy combo to me. You got the one straight laced guy who's like a tiger that could pounce anytime and then you have the goofy sidekick. It works for me. Plus you can tell those guys are friends in real life. Live and let live. If everyone was the same the world would be a boring Olive Garden butthole.

I found 10th Planet from the Joe Rogan podcast. Was training at Bas Rutten's school, saw Bas on JRE pocast (hilarious episode BTW!), started listening to JRE, and eventually learned about 10P. I try to keep up with all the episodes, but definitely tune in whenever Eddie's on.
