Training with Vinny Magalhaes part 1

We made our own 2012 traincation this weekend and though we would have liked to see everyone from last year we still had a blast. Great to see Eddie, Louis, Brian and Scott and a few other die hards. Props to the boys who repped hard at GQ met alot of celebs at UFC fan expo (Korean Zombie is very cool) congrats to Master Eddie on his new stage of life, thanx to Scott for the seminar he put on for half a dozen of us at the pit. My son and I also spent some time training with multiple world champ (and as of now back in the UFC) Vinny Magalhaes at Xtreme Couture's. Super cool guy with mad skills. With his permission I'll post some of the gold he showed us over the next couple weeks.

Sweet, I'm getting ready to make a trip out west myself along with Mikey Burnett & another close friend & training partner on the 20th-29th. We will also be stopping by Xtreme Couture on our way to 10th planet HQ. And I was told last night we are gonna swing through Albuquerque, NM which I can only think means a stop by Greg Jackson's as well. I'm excited about traveling to other gyms, meeting some new people & expanding my skills/knowledge.

That was cool how he spun the other way im gonna try that for sure

Bad ass knee bar! I love how he hooks dudes leg with his to kill any kind of knee bar defense :)

marcelo does alot of that switching of his base in half and then kicking the leg to get into side control. ive been using it alot, never thought of entering into the knee bar like that though really awesome. pablo has some very similiar knee bar or foot lock attacks from there but he rolls into that position, very nice.
