Hey guys.
Big competition tomorrow (my first Gi comp) and i am definitely looking forward to it. Been training so hard. I want that gold medal.
Anyway, any other UK guys competing at the Brighton BJJ open. I figured most of the UK guys would be in the same position as me and training both gi and no-gi. Anyway, if you are, give me a shout. I will be with my team, but am always up for meeting more 10p heads.

Didn't do so great at the comp today. Lost to the guy that went on to win the whole thing (my division). Will do better next time. Will train even harder! Will get gold in the next one. :-)

U doing any of the other Grab & Pull events this summer - Manchester No Gi Open or Blackpool Open (gi)?
I know they're a bit further away.

Hey bro, yes doing Blackpool i believe. You doing that too? Not sure about Manchester. :-)
All i know is that i am taking my training to another level now, going to do more strength training too. TBH i have only been doing gi since mid may and nearly everyone in my division had 4 stripes on their belts. No excuse but i know i will do much better next comp. :-)
Why not competing no-gi Sam? No no-gi tourneys around?
