Damn, his crackhead control looks like triangle! that was beautiful. He sure has a lot of girls cheering him on, my ears hurt! Haha!
That is one of my teammates he learned his rubber guard stuff from Dave Garcia and is coached by Quincy Rice. Anthony was at your seminar in Michigan.
Narsty rubber guard and great sportsmanship after the tap.
Why does this dude look so familiar? Has he been in anything else mma related?
Nice. Definitely nice control to not unnecessarily rip dudes shoulder apart
Quincy Rice teaches rubber guard? Nice!
Way cool that Anthony was at my seminar, tell him I'm a HUGE fan now!
I posted it up on the UG and twittered it too, oh and Facebooked it! That's what happens when you use rubber guard to win a fight, I blast it :)
First of all, Kudos to both guys on the sportsmanship. I love seeing guys go in with a mutual respect rather than trash talking and whining. Second.. Is it just me, or did he seem VERY comfortable on his back? I noticed as soon as he had mount, and that second when he might go for the back (1:35).. When he didnt get it.. he didnt even bother scrambling or posting his leg out, he tucked it in to make sure he landed in full guard. If thats his reflex, I can only assume that kids probably pretty confident there.
Yea Dave Garcia did a seminar a while back and covered the path as well as few other things. We did attend your seminar a few months back. But he play with rubber guard alot in practice. lol and yes Q likes us to learn Rubber guard :) but like Morty said he isn't flexible enough to do it. But he does have us play lock-down half.
That was awesome. And nothing compliments great jiujitsu like a great attitude and sportsmanship. Hopefully, he continues to do well in the future.
Must rep even more rubber guard.. The technique and flexibility is one thing, but I want those chicks!
Ttt!
Quincy Rice is an old school mma.tv troll :-)
