Not able to finish Gogo from half guard today. Getting stacked and passed. What do you guys like to transition too if your guard gets passed but you've cleared the neck?
I ended up crossing my feet and hitting a funky ankle lock. Anybody got something better then that?
I haven't finished with a gogo from half yet. (I think I suck a basing out when I do) But if I'm getting passed I like to try to hit the Carni.

Ya meathook would have stopped the pass, I thought I had the gogo in tight tho didn't want to let go.
MAD flexiblity is what that is. That is sick if you just went to try the gogo from half who cares if you didn't get the finish. Just picture taking your outside leg from half and just tosing it up in front of the dudes face, while your other leg is still stuck between your opponents legs. Personally I would hit the carni or throw in a crowbar and regain full guard with the kung fu still right there. Transition right back to the gogo..If Im picturing this right
Carni. If he's a beast mono roll. Takes a lotta reps but well worth the effort.

yeah the Carni is where its at. Ive hit a gogo from halfguard bottom once. I grabbed on over hook shift my hips out and threw that leg up and I got it. It didnt feel to good afterward tho my hip n knee were hurting but I didnt injure myself so it worked out. I usually go for the cari or meathook also.
