congrats to 10P Yuma's blue belt Mike Cypher on a solid rnc win this weekend
Very impressive. I'm a Liam fan. Officially.
Liam has quickly become one of my favorite tp heads to watch compete on the forum, god damn, he's got serious potential, that jap neck tie was super pro, so quick, so perfect. And his takedown defense looked very impressive as well, great job Brian, you're raising a beast. Cyper's rnc was pretty damn pro too, 10p Yuma holdin it down, making us all proud :)
Taking out a Brown Belt! Very nice work, Liam.
"And you, young Skywalker, we will watch your career with great interest..."
Yeah the boys brought it. Was very cool. The adult black belt Liam fought gave him serious props. He said there's no way he would have competed in that division at Liam's age.
Bookmarking this thread for later viewing. How long has Liam been training?
I know he lost the match with the Black Belt, but I think it could be instructive for us all (and Liam as well) if you post it.
Great Job to all!!
Great vids! Good job guys.
I've been using Liam as a grappling dummy for about 4 years now. He's really started to come into his own this last year physically. The mental and spiritual discipline of a champion will be the harder path. Liam's black belt match was pretty short. I believe it was his mind set more than his opponents skill that was the biggest factor. I could tell Liam was shut down before he set foot on the mat against the bb. Against the the brown he felt like he had nothing to lose and went for it. A great lesson in there. His skills are developing next comes consistently being able the release those skills under pressure.
Gratz, he's really grown into his own style now. The dude that Mike fought had some decent rubber-guard, lol. Keep up the great work guys!
sick moves. good job Liam and good job Yuma for having a beast.
yuma goin hard! congrats gent's:)
