Thanks!
Eddie, that movie looks good! I will check it out. You should watch The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It was a sick movie. That is if you like mystery.
My all time favorite Japanese films are the Yakuza Papers: Battles Without Honor And Humanity. It's a 5 part feature film series that covers the growth of the Yakuza from WWII through to the 60's.
Here's a montage that some dude made on youtube featuring footage from all 5 films set to some random music that has nothing to do with the movies.

They were directed by Kinji Fukasaku (Director of Tora! Tora! Tora! and Battle Royal) and many people consider them to be the Japanese mafia equivalent of the Godfather series.

"It's the story of a man falling down from a building. At every stair, he is saying "until now, everything is allright". But only take down is the most important" (bad translation of original french sentence).
If you like it, you could appreciate also another film from Mathieu Kassovitz : "Assasin(s)". A bit violent, but good too.
"Amelie"(="le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain") & "The city of lost children" (Jean-Pierre Genet) : very beautiful.
