HI Eddie,
I take note that there are a couple of 10th Planet gyms operating in South Africa. Please can you verify if they are endorsed by you as i can't find any reference on your site and i do not wish to waste my time by anyone using your organisation name if they are not certified by you.

Is there a South Africa school?
Just googled one of the so called Representatives here in South Africa, Darryl Faught and found the following link very interesting where he abused the rights t use the name of Cross fit. Sounds like they took legal action against him? Here is the link http://www.crossfit.com/mt-archive2/003728.html or just google Darryl Faught. Not sure i want to train with a guy like this if this is the way he conducts business?! Eddie your feedback here will be highly appreciated!

Just checked with Eddie, and I'm waiting to her back from Alder now. Eddie said Alder was working with another group in South Africa, just waiting for verifcation of the names.
There's a difference between teaching jj at your school and blending in skme tenth planet stuff, but that website makes it appear like it is a tenth planet school. If they said we teach varying styles of jj including techniques from the tenth planet system
Etc etc. They definately shouldn't be displaying the tenth planer logo in their main page.
I hope there ends up being a legit 10th Planet school there. That would be BA!
My concern is that this guy is going the full 9 yards with 10th Planet advertisements on Facebook, Websites, t-shirts, newspapers, at local tournaments etc. They are known as 10th planet here in SA......surely this i misleading the public if the guy is not affiliated or listed on the 10th planet website as an official rep etc? And then taking into consideration what he did to the Cross Fit guys....all does not seem well.
I touched base with Alder, He said Darryl Faught and Delon are legit. He is working with them to legitimately earn rank and become an official affiliate.

Does this give them the authority to actually promote and advocate that they are official 10th planet gyms/representatives? Shouldn't this only be allowed once they have official rank or when affiliation is processed?

As a hard working full time MMA coach who has gone through the right channels to achieve the correct credentials i surely have the right to question a school if they do not have the correct affiliations or making use of High Standard names such as 10th Planet. It doesn't seem like 10th Planet is too worried about these guys using their name to promote their business. I would have thought that there would be more stricter control from such a high profile BJJ group with the likes of 10th Planet. I suppose if i were as low as these other guys then i should then also just add 10th planet to what we have to offer and who represent at my gym.....
Hanno has no affilation with 10th Planet, we was denied an affilation, due to lying to Eddie and Alder about his rank. He needs to immediatley remove anything from his website, school, advertising etc. that mentions 10th Planet or legal actions could ensue. We allready dealt with this over the past two weeks, I'm sure you saw the threads. There no need for you to bring it back up. Don't tell us were not too worried, a simple scan of posts will see 3 threads dealing with the subject. We are very protective of the system, the situation has all ready been taking care of.
MMA Fan, give us the link to your school please...I personally would like to see what you're all about.
