That reverse arm drag thing he does is gold. That's def making its way into the system.

What percentage of traditional Bjj schools train no-gi 50% of the time and with no-gi grips in the gi classes?

Marcelo's school is not run like your average Bjj school :-)

wow, amazing episode Jake!! So much to add to my game (or take out) soo little time. Seems like I'll get around to putting all the stuff from this video to practical use when I am about 60 years old. Trying to teach and develop my persoal game to Black belt level at the same time seems almost impossible after watching this. My brain is a spinning ball of mush right now!!

Marcelo's school is not run like your average Bjj school :-)

If you check MGinaction the move is called the 2-on-1. Lots of great content on there about it.

I think more of the modern champs are doing a 50/50 split, thankfully. Places like the Mendes bros, Braulio, Galvao, Cobrinha, Hall, etc.

Some awesome Marcelo 2 on 1 stuff (the grip from the video) Cool to note that Marcelo rarely uses the regular arm drag anymore. he mostly just uses this Russian 2 on 1 grip from the seated guard instead.

No lie I just did a video showing one of my fave go to sweeps. 2 on 1 control sweep from guard...It'll be posted up in a day or so, shot a bunch of stuff and now editing it down.

After being on MGinaction I feel spoiled lol. We get to see 2-3 new super exciting rolls every single day. Just watching hours of Marcelo rolling over the last couple of years has helped my game so damn much
