Good day for 10p teens!! Gabby Bella wins Womens Advanced at Grapplers Quest!!

Sounds like it was a good day for 10p teens (heard Tyler W. won as well) as Gabby won a hard fought match over a seasoned purple belt who had 30 lbs on her to take the Womens Advanced Belt at GQ today. Really proud of her for her perserverance and for working very very hard to make herself the best she can be. Its a long road with alot of trials and tribulations and she could of quit many times but she has only worked harder. Congrats Kid on getting your belt back :)

Thanks everyone for the props. Most of the girls in women's advanced around here are purples an Browns (only know of one female black belt i. The east coast but I'm sure there are more.) She wins some and she loses some but she rarely ever gets submitted (something we pride ourselves in for her mma training). When she wins its usually a submission... When she loses its usually by an advantage point or a point or two. Gabby doesn't like to play 'The Game'. She is very aggressive an only cares about the sub. I've seen her lose matches because she will jump a rolling toe hold up 3 by 30 secs left an get her back taken. It's just her personality... It's just who she is. She's getting a little older an a little smarter now... It comes with experience. She's worked really hard as of late an is looking to make a name for herself. For the first time in her life she actually seems driven.
