whats to say a white belt hasnt put in lots of work i been training 10th planet JJ for over 2 years now and more than likely i will stay one for a while. Belts are sweet and all but are not an accurate way to measure ones work ethic specially of those of us that cant train at an affiliate that can belt us.

The guy could have trained and supported the 10th planet for years from an non affiliated gym. Or mabye he just likes 10th Planet and decided to get an extra circle on his arm. Whats the big deal?Quote:

I'm a white belt but have been hopping around different jiu jitsu systems/schools for about 10 years because I was in the military. Tattoos are personal expressions of what you are passionate about, that's it. Cool looking tat.

I got this right after i turned 18 when i was still a white belt, and i think it was a great decision. If it's something important to you i think you should go for it.
