"asking questions and doing research is more patriotic than blindly accepting what you're told." Ronda Rousey
Whoever wrote that article is fucking dumb.
sure it was tasteless and classless from Ronda but so what she's hot.
Nothing tasteless or classless about it. Nothing wrong with questioning. Just like the sheeple that believe 9/11 was done by terrorists alone. Believe nothing that you hear and only half what you see:cool:
She's her own person. She has a right to believe and tweet whatever she wants.
Shouts out to that father fake crying for the camera. THAT was in bad taste.
Also bleacherreport sucks dirty balls. No one should be allowed to link their trash on here.
Sorry, I just seen the ad and dont usually read mainstream anyhow.
Written by a Moran that completed the task. Getting people to talk about that shitty write up. Win for that dickhead. Well played.
Ronda is right.
doesnt america have something protecting the freedom of speech? it really makes me wonder whats really happening underneath all the media hype. instead of pointing fingers at someone for bringing up a possibly massive problem, they abuse her until she probly feels her job could be risked? if anyone came up to me and showed me that much evidence against someone i would begin to start asking more questions, not tryign to shove it under the rug. its not ronda (bless her soul) that made that video, its not ronda that filmed those actors/ parents and its definitly not her that made all those cock ups in the sandy hook tragedy.
the ufc should be proud of one fo their stars getting more publicity and for a good reason. not to mention the fact that one she is becoming a superstar and theyll wannna ride along and then u have cases like chael sonnen who had all his personal problems and others whose names i cant remember that had previous charges against them like assault and a bunch of other crimes.
ill take it all one step further than this video. this has no substance yet, its just me pondering stuff but is it possible that the the american government doesnt just have people in it in high places that are corrupt but that are actually aiming for, not to be extreme, but the collapse of america? terrorism from the inside. these things dont sound like greedy people making cockups jsut to line their own pockets, it sounds more like cold hearted attempts to undermine an entire society. "me thinkth the lady doth protest too loud"
now before anyone rips into me about it, make sure you sit back and consider the possibility of it, and then rip away. and think that in a war, the best thing you could do would be to get into power in your enemies base and turn them on themself
Good post issac.
cheers bro. i just had a massive debate about this stuff last night with a friend and i guess im still pretty fired up about it :)
I disagree with the various permutations of Sandy Hook conspiracy theories (they seem to range from "it was all actors and no died" to "kids really died, but it was government agents that did it"), but I'm really only upset with the people who have taken it upon themselves to harass the families of victims and other victimized by the events of that day. Several memorial pages dedicated to victims have had to be shut down because people are posting hurtful messages on boards associated with those pages.
I'm fully aware that the First Amendment protects a persons right to voice their opinions in a public forum (however unsavory to the audience), but I personally feel that we have a moral obligation to be respectful to each other. I'm an atheist and I believe that there have been hurtful acts done in the name of religion, but I personally wouldn't march in and disrupt a Sunday church service & start yelling that Jesus never rose from the dead out of respect to the people who are seeking comfort in their religion. I think that conspiracy heads cross the line of decency when they go out of their way to make contact with victims' families to tell them they are fakers and their family members aren't dead. I have no problem w/them voicing their opinions, but I think it's the wrong forum for that. What Ronda did, IMO, didn't cross that line, but because of her position as a public figure might add fuel to some of the folks who are crossing the line.
have you watched the videos pertaining to the evidence raylie? the memorial page for a supposed teacher that died was supposedly setup before the sandy hook incident ever occurred. there are plenty more inconsistencies if you want to ponder them. i'm sure you probably wouldn't be interested in doing that because wherever you were at it would probably be the wrong forum for that and you have moral obligations to uphold in being respectful an not crossing lines of decency. different people have different ideas of whats happening right before us here in America. i don't want to criticize anyone but let's just look at the few posts here we have on the subject and analyze there particulars to find the suggestions they lend themselves to. "whoever wrote that article is fucking dumb"
this is a declarative statement. it doesn't suppose what if they weren't dumb and knew exactly what they were doing. it seems to me they were suggesting that she shouldn't be allowed to have a liveliehood fighting for tweeting a link to a video that seemingly challenged the common mainstream media narrative on the sandy hook "thing".
second post says "sure it was tasteless and classless from Ronda but so what she's hot". In this line of thought it explained to you that its "tasteless and classless" to challenge the mainstream narrative but we can overlook that behavior because it's coming from someone who is photogenic and sexually attractive which is deemed to be more important in the end.
in another post is this gem. "Shouts out to that father fake crying for the camera. THAT was in bad taste." this suggests that what was an actor doing a bad job of trying to work himself up into playing the role of a grieving father seconds before smiling gleefully was actually not an actor but just a father who was trying to squeeze out some tears for the cameras in an act of mock mourning which was just judged to be in bad taste. self delusion is powerful.
i always think of 2nd thessolonians 2:10-11 when i hear these kinds of things from those people who I know aren't disinformation agents. "They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie."
So I guess freedom of speech is out the window these days eh?
Before I start... this is all my personal opinion. My only point was that I disagree with folks harassing the families of victims on their personal memorial pages. I have no problem w/the conspiracy vs. non-conspiracy back & forth going on a at a jiu-jitsu message board. In the same way that conspiracy heads are complaining that the general public isn't taking into account the possibility that the popular narrative is wrong, I feel like those conspiracy buffs who have gone out of their way to harass folks aren't considering the possibility that the mainstream narrative could actually be true. If they did, they probably wouldn't send messages to grieving families claiming that they're willing conspirators in a subversive gov plot. There are plenty of avenues available these days to spread what they believe is the truth (message boards, email, FB, twitter, youtube etc). I just personally feel like a tribute page set up by a victim's family should be off-limits. Also feel like it's out of line to send harassing phone calls or emails. Basically, I'm saying a plurality of viewpoints is fine by me, but I'm anti-harassment... unless it's Renato Laranja @ the local 10PJJ ;)
Freedom of speech as it's applied with the first amendment is a protection that allows us to share opinions that might be offensive to others in a public forum or privacy of our own homes w/out government interference. Example, it protects bible thumpers from government interference when they stand outside the funeral of the victim of a hate crime and shout "God hates fags." Does it make that act of expression right? Not IMO, but it's legally protected.
As far as I know, the government didn't compel Ronda to remove her tweet. I can't read her mind, but it seemed to me like a combination of her conscience, public opinion, pressure from her employer and her management did. Point being, it seems like her 1st Amendment rights weren't infringed in this instance.
tactical lesson for the kiddies: avoid facts, set up and knock down straw man. repeat ad infinitum.
She should stick to fighting and not comment on things about which she doesn't know
Raylie,
I get what you're saying. I agree Like I always say, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. Generally, before you can get to addressing a subject logically, you have to first deal with people's emotions. This is a sensitive subject. And if it is a conspiracy, they're evil geniuses because the simple fact that children died makes this taboo. Call 9/11 a conspiracy, you're heartless because people died. But call Sandy Hook a conspiracy and you become a piece of shit because children died. It's clever. But it doesn't change the evidence.
Something is clearly suspicious. But instead of getting clarifying evidence, the reaction is simply "Shut up you piece of shit, children died!"
YouTube isn't academic research. Nor is the discovery channel or Alex jones. When I'm telling her to shut up its because she is commenting on stuff she does not know about.
If it isn't academic research, and it's full of BS, it should be easy to disprove. I'd rather that be the case. But simply pointing out dislike for the source of the information doesn't provide a proper rebuttal. I honestly don't want to believe that Sandy Hook is a conspiracy. But so far there's been no response except smearing.
Have you ever noticed people who ask the WRONG questions get called crazy? Is it wrong to ask questions? Time has provin many crazy peoples wild statements have shown with time.... to be true. Look these up. All crazy conspiacies that turned out to be 100 % fact
1933 some leaders of the largest companys in America planned on a coup against FDR. They wanted to replace him with a dictator of there choice. Inspired by the rise of Hitler. Some of the companys involved Goodyear,Chase Bank, Dupont and George Bush's father. This is for real. The mistake they tried to recruit Marine Major General Smedley to run the military portion of the coup. He blew the lid off to congress. Do the research to see how all the scumbags used their power to never be brought to justice.
Check into how the Shah Of Iran came to power. Our goverment and British goverment worked the strings to overthrow the DEMOCRATICLY elected leader of the time. The trade off, our handpicked replacement the Shah gave us a better oil deal.
Watergate. Think about that for a second. The only failure the dumbass's got caught. But what if they hadn't. It would have changed the face of an election. Now think about some of the strange things that have surrounded the last 2 elections. The people who have brought it forward have been called conspiracy nuts. I'm sure just like people who would have questioned the outcome of the election if watergate had been succesful. So is it crazy to say their are powers working behind the curtin for their own purpose? Have the last 2 elections been straight up? Maybe someone has just learned from the mistakes of the Watergate crew.
I tell everyone to pick up the book DARK MISSION about the moon landing. Conspiracy theorys at it's best. But what is the coolest part of the book to me is the stuff thats not in question. It is admitted fact now. Like our goverment had a Think Tank set up with the best minds in the world with one simple question. If we find life or evidence of life should the world be informed? The answer....... NO. The goverment than set up an elaborate cover story in case that happend. Part of which was that we never traveled to the moon. Thus that conspirecy theory still exist today. They had fake film and all the proof to create a cover story. It's thought by the experts that knew of the coverstory that some of the fake film accidently got mixed in with the real. Many aren't really sure what ones are real in some cases. So why do this you ask? With the THINK TANK saying that news could create a moral and ethical world crises, they had to be prepared. They came up with the brilliant plan. If we got their and found proof of an alian lifeform. Maybe a shot of an alian civilzation makes it past them to the world. It sqweaks by the firewalls they have in place (Which there were many!!!! You would have to read the book) They could quickly pull the plug. They would say because of the coldwar and the need to show the Russians our military superiority we faked the whole mission. Than they would call the real footage of what they didn't want people to see a fake !!! Last resort of course. But the thought rather a black eye for the US than a globil meltdown. This isn't conspirecy fiction. It's fact. Now of course they say there was no need for that plan to be used because the mission went perfectly and no need to change the facts, because no alian life was found. The argument is....... wouldn't that be whats said regardless of what was found? We already know the THINK TANK ( That included Carl Sagan. One of the words best astroiphysisist. He later wrote the book Contact, about us makeing contact with alian life. ) told them to lie no matter what.
Lastly do your research on Black Flag operations. I'm not saying the Sandy Hook shooting is a Black Flag to get guns out of the hands of the US population for a much bigger plan yet to unfold. But it could be used as a text book example of what a Black Flag operation should look like.
I think what makes Americans special to everyone else in the world is our unwillingness to follow or be chained. We are leaders . Thats why we arnt a British Colony anymore. We refused to be ruled by people when we felt we could do it better ourselves. Everything great mankind has ever done has started with a question, a search for answers. Why is that a bad thing now? We should never be punished for not excepting what offiacials feed to us as the absolute truth. Millions accepted as fact the stone buildings they were walking into were showers, because thats what they were told. They had been conditioned thru fear and intimitation to stop asking questions. NEVER STOP ASKING QUESTIONS !!!!!! No matter how crazy they may seem at the time. Isn't that what we all believe as part of 10th Planet. We looked for better ways to perform this crazy thing called Jiu Jitsu when we were being told there was no better way.
I tried to link" 33 conspiracy theories that turned out to be true " but couldn't get it to work. Thought it would be a good new thread topic. Maybe one of you guys can get it to go.
if everyone followed this line of thought then no one would ever find out anything. its that kind of thinking that lets people be lead around the nose. i think that what ronda did was a great thing. ok she might not have the credentials to research something like this but what she did was use her celebrity to get an important question out into the public where someone who does have the know how could figure it out.
it seems in this day and age were being forced to be more sheep and theres no leaders coming out. no one that wants to ask/answer the big questions. the fact that there are holes in these stories should light up the entire world media. if it call it something like "crazy conspiracy theorists attempt to create some lunatic government plot beyond killings", im sure i wouldnt take too much notice about it. but if u get celebrities, just famous people, people known for their intellect. and they said something like "american government seeting up shooting massacres for political gain" "30 minute video of questions pointing out all the holes in massacre with links to too of the biggest terrorist attacks ever, also with insinuations of government involvement" dont you think that people might start listening a bit more.
and why is it that we come up against such bigoted refusal to simply ask questions. if we are wrong then prove it. give answers as to why the stories of the shooting change frequently.
not that i am qualified by a university to say this yet but as i understand it, buddhist philosophy has lasted thousands of years with the monks learning and questioning everything in it, right down to the core. its still here and pumping strong. that to me is an image of what the world should aim for.
