Not long back from the Eddie Bravo seminar tour, got to Birmingham, Grimsby, Newcastle and Darlington with my new buddy and touring companion Steven (Doss) Gray and really enjoyed. It was good to meet some fellow Scots including Stevie T and John from Carluke who are heading up the first 10pjj gym in Scotland. Also met a lot of cool people from the wider 10th planet UK community, thanks to Mick, Simon, Chris and Luke for putting on the seminars..hopefully see you all soon!

If I can sort out work then il be up more. Hopefully soon we will have the first official 10th planet in Scotland.

We need to find somewhere to have Stevens class durin the week lol. I struggle for trainin at the weekend but could hopefully train more during the week. Somewhere near Glasgow would probably suit alot of people
think steven said that once the interest is greater he is going to look at getting more days to teach in carluke
Yeah he mentioned that. I think it's just finding the time at place to do it :)
That's why I mentioned Glasgow just as you are more likely to get better numbers.
Hopefully somethin will happen soon. I know Steven said he was gettin his own mats in April aswell which will open up more options

Thanks guys . I am looking at a place next week . As requested it will be for classes during the week and I think it will be about 10 minutes from your house Johnnie .Should be close to you as well David .I will keep you posted next week .I will try and get it up and running as soon as I can .If it comes off it will be some place for us .

I trained with these guys yesterday. Good fun and Steven and John know the system well. I'd recommend anyone nearby to go and support these guys so we can have an official 10th planet school in Scotland.
Thanks again Steven and John. It was good to get to roll with other people who enjoy using the system.

I'm off the last Sunday in march n I'm looking forward to it lol. Also attempting to Change my shifts so I can get away in time to drive up
Thanks guys .I am looking at a new gym just now .It looks like the new timings will be Monday night 7-8 ,Friday at 5-6 or 6-7 (or both )and a Sunday 1-2 for class and then an hour for just rolling . It will be more central as well .What do you reckon to the days and times.

I can't do Mondays but may be able to do Fridays (I help run the uni MMA club on a Friday) if it was nearer Glasgow. Sundays I'd defo be up for though.

Yeah If these classes are able to run then I should be able to go completely 10th pjj aswell :)
I could get to Glasgow without any trouble when I'm in Scotland, Carluke is a bit awkward and far for me to travel to when I'm up. I think Glasgow would be the way to go guys. Being a big city I think a 10th planet gym could do well there.
If anyone is havin an issue gettin to Carluke, I'm sure there will be people travelling from the west coast including me.
Normally I would expect 2 in my car leavin space for 3 others.

Does anyone know of any Jiu Jitsu in/near Edinburgh? I visit my girlfriend once a month there and I'd be a nice change to go meet some new people and roll with some fresh faces!
Off the top of my head Joe there is Rick Young's Blackbelt academy (think they only offer gi classes though) and Cross Combat which is more no gi.
