Comes up a bit short on points, but I'm still damn proud of her. :)

I can relate, man. It's so hard to watch my kids compete. I love that they do it, but it's so stressful for me.
Now she wants to challenge the Barncat, Brian Debbes. I told her no problem, he's from Texas.
Sydney Ho.....you are a great little fighter. I was so impressed with your game especially how well you recovered guard a few times and how you scrambled well during the fight. I also really loved how you almost took his back late in the fight.
Be super proud of your effort Sydney. Congratulations.
Lots to be proud of Louis and I cant wait to see Sydney strangle her next opponent, ( Brian?)
Haha! Thanks Frank. I will show her your comment. :)
that was an awesome match, like Frank said her guard retention and recovery were top notch
Brian, after choking you out, she's gonna get up and step on the back of your neck. And then she's gonna punch a hole in your chest.
very nice Little Ho.... I hope she can stick with it, maybe even give Gabby a run for her money! Let me know if she wants to learn Heel Hooks.
So awesome!!!She did great. I hope my girls take to jiu jitsu very soon. How old were they when you got them into classes?
My Girls learned mainly from just rolling with me. Not so much from any formal class training. I've been kinda rolling around with them since they were really young. We're not training hardcore or anything. :)

Louis, I can hear the nervousness in your voice brother. I go through the same exact thing everytime Cora competes. Your daughter is tall for being 9. She is one tough girl. Having you roll with her, I'm sure she will be a beast on the mat soon.
On a side note: I don't know why at NAGA, when they reset the kids in the middle of the mat, they don't give them the same posture?? I see that your daughter broke the boy posture right before they were stopped and reset in the middle. Its hard enough to battle to break someone's posture, why take that away from her? Maybe if she got that posture broken and go straight into the Rubber Guard, it would have been a different outcome/ match. I'm just saying cus it happened to us before at NAGA.
Good job Louis! She did great!
If Rose Gracie would set it up for the next Gracie Worlds, my daughter Syndey will face the Fatcat from Texas, Brian Debbes, in a Superfight.
Man, she almost had the kid's back! That would've got her the win! Sooooo close! A great guard always starts with great guard recovery, she has Ant potential :)
good guard recovery, almost had the back and a sick butterfly sweep from open guard. she did great
