I know this is a Jiu-Jitsu forum, but I was interested to see how many of you follow the NFL, and if so, who is your favorite player/team?
Personally, Im a Jets fan, and it looks like all these years of having a mediocre team are about to pay off, so Im STOKED for this season!
Just thought it would be an interesting topic, let me hear what you guys have to say!!
I more into college football because every Saturday matters plus all the school spirit and teams but when I do watch NFL I enjoy pulling for the Packers and Titans. And every now and then pulling for the Colts because Peyton Manning is from Tennessee.
Of course your a football fan, your from Texas. I'm surprised your not cowboy fan. Right now the best three teams are the Jets, Ravens, Steelers. Steelers are the better of the three. I'm a Tampa Bucs. fan; I was living down there when they won the Superbowl it was amazing! I like other teams, but I'm a avid Cowboy and Colt's Hater!!!

I like the chiefs this year also! Jamaal Charles is the best running back in the NFL, he just doesn't get the chance to prove it. He has the most yards per carry of any back in the game this year yet he still gets less touches than Thomas Jones! I heard it's because he gets winded but get him a god damn conditioning coach and get him the ball!

same with adam vinatieri. yea he won a superbowl with the colts but his best days were behind him and gostowski regularly boots the ball out of the back of the end zone and forces many touch backs. we were getting sick and tired of adams kickoffs reaching no farther then the 5 10 and even 15 yard lines with the wind to his back
kicking isnt easy, only reason adam v. was a good kicker for the colts is because kicking inside a windless stadium is exponentially different from kicking in an open air stadium with variable winds.Quote:

Being from Texas I've always been a cowboys fan.. but i'd be lying if I said I watched pro football often. I haven't watched the super bowl in 6 years. I just keep up with how the cowboys are doing on the side.. and focus on UT :P
College football is awesome, I love UT.
