id love to train with mr sauer or keith owen...maybe one day..
The Helio Gracie side of the jiu jitsu tree always seem to have a way of making things so simple.
Seems like a top guy, i like his style of teaching.
He explains techniques so well and his individual help like when we were rolling and he came over to tweak our technique, he was just so easy to understand and so masterful at imparting knowledge. Very very awesome teacher, by far the best I've ever learned from (granted thats a short list).
Pedro Sauer is brilliant! I love his understanding of fundamental techniques, soooooo important :)
Awesome technique! Thanks for sharing!
Professor Sauer is nuts. You can see where Keith Owen get's his genius from. The professor literally shows things that black belts in the room just go "what? seriously? wow" That reaction alone is worth seeing.
We have a whole Professor Sauer video series coming soon. That should blow people's socks off.
that technique is taught at my school, and it's great. It's basically just paying attention to a guy's weight. While someone is dragging the knee into mount, they have to take at least a little weight off of the other knee for a quick moment. If you elbow escape to that other side, even if the guy on top is heavy, he won't be weighting the leg and you get an easy half-guard. Also, if the guy has the mounting knee high, you can dive right into deep half with that.
