man i hate all refs no matter the sport. it could be water polo, i don't care, if theres a ref i fuckin hate um. i had to deal with a fucking prick ref in my soccer match last night.
What did he make him apologise for? Is there a clip?
After he tapped the guy out, he screamed "What the fuck!" Then ran to the camera and yelled "10th Planet". This did not go well with the ref. You can see him telling Sandro to go apologize to the camera. We actually find the whole thing really funny. Btw, he did pop the guy's elbow. The classy thing to do would have been to see if the guy's arm was okay. I told Sandro afterwards to apologize to the guy.
Louis post reads like the ref did something wrong. Louis meant that our guy acts like an ass, after hitting a nice armbar. He shames us all with his cockiness but then has the ref put him straight, as the ref makes him apologize to the camera. Much to our delight. Good ref!

Unfortunately an ego or two squeaks by every once and awhile, out of respect for his instructor and his opponent he should know better.
I can see the refs point if he popped the arm and shouted 'what the fuck' but in fairness he made up for both by shouting 10th Planet into the camera hahahaha!Quote:

If it was Abu Dhabi or mundials I would agree. But what division was this? Respect and class to fellow competitors is part of the game. And to over celebrate in any division other than expert or advanced just looks silly to true competitors, because they wouldn't get any highlights. The not wearing a shirt made it even funnier.
A couple of ref this weekend was the worse we ever seen. One ref almost started a fight among the parents. It got so heated that I had to yank cora out of the way. The ref was watching his own son fighting in the next mat instead of watching the kids that he was suppose to ref thus the score got screwed up when it was over. The table worker had to shout at him that he missed many calls. They had to redo the match. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen. He was shouting at his kid when he was suppose to be reffing the match. However when it was cora's turn, he really like watching cora as she rubber guard all the kids and finish them fast. He laughs and got a kick out of it...watch the vid you will see. He always laughs when cora beat the boys...LOL crazy ref.
There is celebrating a victory and then theres being a douche. Very cool move on the ref's part, I support it 100%. Good sportsmanship is generally in the rules of every grappling tournament I've ever been at. The ref hadn't rasied his hand yet and could have very easily DQ'd him even though won via submission. More importanly, thats not how 10 do.
Well hopefully he learned his lesson. You don't see any of our top competitors doing stuff like that.
Agree with Chris. That was a d-bag move. Glad the ref stepped in and made him apologize and I'm glad you made him go back to the student and apologize as well. Also, you should have some level of rip'd ness or tan to go shirtless. Not a pot belly pasty white boy. But that was a nice armbar...Now kid needs to roll a monster, get smashed, and get some humility.
We smash him all the time. He's too stupid to learn humility.:p
