Outstanding. What a pleasure to watch. Cora has serious talent.
Cora is gonna be a serious force when she is older
Sick, wicked and NASTY!! Great job, Cora!!
Awesome...
Definitely the future of 10p right there.
I got to get my daughter to watch you Cora, just mind blowing ... AWESOME.
epic
Wish my legs moved like that...so smooth
Darn, I typed out a post at 5:15 this morning, and must not have hit the submit button. Now I might not be able to remember the times, but I think it was at 2:29 when she goes Double bagger to Chill dog to Invisible collar to Triangle to Arm bar. Amazing work.
If that's not the right time, sorry. I had it this morning.
Cora is a beast.
insane awesomeness
I don't even know where to start. Thank you Master Eddie for taking the time to make this thread about Cora. You don't know how happy she was to see this and all the Youtube hits she's getting. I showed it on her way to school and she got so happy especially when today she will be taking a huge STATE test in school. I know you are on your tour of the country for your seminar, for you to take your time to do this is truly an honor. THank you... Bruce
To all the guys, thank you for watching the videos. Martial artists like any other kind of artists whether you are a musician or painter, you want to showcase your talent to the world and to be appreciated. In regards to Cora, as you all know, all that you see is only 4-5 months in the making. I can't wait to see what she will be like by the end of the year.
Incredible, again! 3:36 was some amazing shit! She is super high level already and it seems to come to her so naturally.
I love how she appears to have no regard for the points game, she seems to have a singular focus on finishing the match with a sub!! She is gonna destroy in sub only touraments as they continue to grow.
Greg: glad you mention that. The reason why we love 10thplanetJJ so much is because it falls in line with our motto. From the very start of it all our motto is "streets don't have points". If you can't finish your opponent fast on the street, you will be in danger. That is why I only teach her how to end the fight fast, not collecting points. And if she get beat by those that play the points system, then to us is not a defeat at all. So far out of all the boys she fought, only 2 was able to tap her out and one of them happen to be 13 years old.
Cora is a bully and destroying those poor young boy's sense of manhood. I guarantee at least 60% of her opponents cry afterward.
Madcon-Beggin. Had me takin my b-boy stance the entire video. Well played Bruce.
bobby: LOL funny dude..:) that is a weird subject, the crying. I'm not use to that. The boys cried for EVERYTHING. They lose to her, they cried, well I can understand as it always hurt when she armbars me. Some even go as far as to throw a fit. And they would look to the ref in confusion as if they were about to get out of that submission and blaming the ref for stopping the fight too soon. Sadly, their parents bought into that. But when Cora loses, as yall seen in the videos that she lost, she's still cool as if its nothing to her...LOL
as far as songs goes..i don't have an extended list to pick from. All those are Cora's songs. I can put some Justin Beiber for you next time if you prefer...LOL
Great highlight !
Dang, man. That little girl can play. She is already chaining submissions.
This is gonna be fun to watch.
Cool:) go Cora!
I wasn't being sarcastic. Beggin is my jam. Ive been known to get down to tha Bieb's as well tho. I wonder about myself.
Damn, I wonder whats the reaction of the parents of the boys was like. If its like anything like the hockey dads here up north then I feel sorry for the boys when they have to ride home.
very entertaining, I'm surprised to hear that any kids her age can beat her. Has any 10 year old ever been this good? Where the gracies this good when they were 10? Sport jui jitsu is co-ed until a certain age? Will she wrestle?
Let's all keep our fingers crossed that she doesn't get bored with jiu jitsu :)
Here is something that gives us hope...

I thought that book made me look small, he he. Keep up the great work cora.
She has another tournament this weekend and I think we are going to work on the half and half to electric chair to her top game. I want to through people off a little, keep them guessing. And if she can't get to the top game, I think going for the Carne from the pyramid should get people's attention again...:) What yall think?
If you're in the pyramid, test that triangle first. The over hook will have to be removed to kungfu and is a slightly unnecessary transition. Pyramid is a strong position thats pretty much 100% a triangle setup.
Always postin as the same time as Eddie. Of course ignore my post and listen to him.
Aaron: to answer your question, YES there are other kids around that are just as good as Cora. They have their own style. Those kids have many more years in this sport than Cora. So far, the ones that are able to beat her has at least 3 years on her and many many more tournament experience than her. Cora started JJ just a little over 2 years ago and only been competing for 8 months as you can tell by all the videos on our Youtube. Every tournament, she is getting closer and closer to them. THere are only 4 kids that have beaten her that she hasn't got the chance to avenge her lost yet. All the other she has avenge and dominating them already. These 4 kids are actually some of the best in the country, 2 of them are from AOJ with Mendez bro, 1 in Tx, and 1 in MS. All the kids are actually a year or 2 older than her. Also keep in mind we only been on the 10thplanet system since early Nov. I predict that by the end of the year, she will have enough tournament experience and time to work on the system some more, then its going to be payback.
bobby: you funny bro. If you go back to her 3rd NO Gi match, Cora actually did the exact thing you said already. Pyramid with whizzar, wrist control, TRIANGLE!!! :) Our objective is not just to win the match for medals, but learn to use new moves and to make a statement. One that keeps people talking. I mean, noone really remembers who win 1st place at the last tournament..etc etc.. but they surely remember that little girl with the rubber guard...right?? so the same idea.... what if Cora can just put everyone of those kid in the Carne?? How cool will that be? Putting the system to work again. OR if she electric chair sweep someone and go for the chopping block or Gogoplata from the top (which becoming her 2nd favorite move). If all that fails, she always got the RG and Triangle..:)
Master Eddie: you know me...my camera is an extention of me...:) I record everything she does on the mat, even at the gym.
Her technique was awesome. But one of my favorite things to watch, was how she was always the first to engage the match, as well as the first to engage the handshake at the end. Shes got the mind/heart to be great for sure.
