Shinya Aoki showed it on his 2nd DVD set. That was the first time I ever saw it, and he is usually credited as the first person to develop the move. Obviously that doesn't mean he was the first to do it. he also came up with the darce choke on his own and called it the "spinning choke." But others came up with the darce on their own as well like John Danaher, Robert Drysdale, Milton Vieira, etc. So it's easy to see that someone could have been doing the Japanese Necktie before Shinya.Quote:
