Another clear example of how the gi is not needed for success in the nogi world. Train in the gi if you like it but please don't try to convince nogi players that they are missing out on something crucial. In the 70's all kick boxers came from traditional martial arts so everyone thought that in order to be successful in kickboxing you must train in the traditional martial arts. 40 years later we know that training in TMA's is not necessary for success in the kickboxing world. The bjj community is still in the 70's mentality as far as grappling is concerned. :-)Attachment 2071

It was a big turnout at a very well established tourney with high level competition. Please note there is over a 300% difference between 10 P and the 2nd place team in nogi. (Not to brag ;) ).

One of my teammates, a 13 year old, won nogi intermediate in adult. I've been hunting for video but haven't been able to find any.
