I found that the details in the inverted marcelo video really helped my game because it made me better ar chasing the marcelotine once I have the initial grip
I think that the problem would be with collecting the head from mount. Mounted guillotines need to be extremely tight. I hit Marcellotines from the mount regularly but I prefer to wrap the head up from side control, then mount. You can also use a failed arm-in guillotine to sweep your opponent and adjust to the Marcellotine mid-sweep and finish that from the mount. Usually I try a one-arm guillotine first and if there's a problem, I transition to the Marcellotine.Quote:
