Yep. I learned this from Bill Coopers escapes DVD. Bill taught it better. But yeah, it works like a charm.
Nice..
very sweet, since we sprawl plenty at 10p
I saw this the other day. I can't wait to try it
You must dominate the free side....always
This is the escape that I usually do. I saw it in a Dean Lister video. It's the same one that Tito showed on TUF. However, it's important to keep the elbow of the inside arm tight. I've slipped up a couple of times and gotten my arm deep hooked and it doesn't go too well from there. hahaha
Thanks :)
Have to check this out at home.
Good stuff, I have found some success with it. Just look out for Swim moves and the Gag Reflex :)
David "Hollywood" Hullet taught me this in 06 and called it the "shit outta luck"
This works?
Hmm. Have to try it out. Could have used it last night actually, but I forgot it and instead just tapped.
In this past tournament, in the 1st gi match, Cora caught the kid in a Triangle and his coach/dad told him to do this escape. Right away Cora went for the swim move to spiderweb armbar, because of Bobby, we were able to have a counter to this escape..:)
I drilled this a bit earlier this week... I like it, but it has its shortcomings.
I just try to not get into triangles in the first place.
