He's so nasty! The evolution and development of his rubber guard is ahead of the curve, for sure. Less known fact is...So is his leg-lock game.
oh i seen the leg locks to, defense and offense
Barncat is all bad news. I roomed with him in Vegas and he almost got us arrested.
I have been messing with a version of muddy waters and crocs for a while now. Actually my most common submission in competition. Here is just one vid but believe me, I have plenty more :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLkNPwog7C0
P.S. I am a Barn Cat fan. The dude is an assassin.
nice!
So thats the croc, is there the name for the armbar on the other arm? What about the armbar that shinya shows on MTS?
Nice Nathan!!
HPV virus
HPV? I know its scary cause like a 1/3 of sexualy active people have it and it can't be stopped by condoms but is this a name of one of the moves?
I'm assuming that's the name of that armbar on the near side from invisible collar?? The one Barncat hits when they angle away from his invisible croc? Or you talking about Nathan orchards croc variation?
Baby alligator natehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuhpTcCyPjM
Awesome Orchard! I thought Barncat was the only one that triangles his legs with both arms-in in invisible collar. Also the new variation of the regular croc from mission control has a triangle on the opposite side just like that with both arms in to assist the zombie/hand2mat once in zombieless muddy waters. I do believe Orchard is right, it's not named yet. Maybe so, those guys at HQ are usually on top of the names...
Could call it "muck" since its a little nastier version of muddy waters..

Barncat hits a nearside armbar from invisible collar. The guy felt the invisible croc armbar coming, angles away from it, so Barncat takes the near arm instead.... So nasty!
there are a whole bunch of variations of this move. the most powerful I have played with is actually from invisible crack head. ill work on making a vid and post it.
Thank you and yes that’s about my size :) Let there be no doubt though, that I got tons out of the “muddy waters” details when I saw them at the Midwest training camp though. In fact I’ve using it AND working with a new path to it that I can’t wait to show Eddie in person :) Hopefully it works out, its certainly working well so far.
Nice man i cant wait to see it, im definately gonna start work on it, i almost got one in comp, but it hurt my nuts haha
The Angry Orchard
Man, I wish I could triangle my legs with both arms in, that's a huge position, but unfortunately I'm Mexican, most of us can't do that white boy shit Orch & Cat do. There are quite a few croc variations, muddy waters is just another one.
Muddy waters is the position when your opponent's shoulder is locked with a double bag and his opposite arm is trapped on the mat. He's in muddy waters at that point. He's a lonely zebra on the plains of Africa taking sips in a giant puddle of muddy waters with a croc inches from him chillin beneath the surface :)
dude perfect analogy
Starting the whole path from in invisible crackhead is huge especially since zombies from mission control fail alot of the times. But hitting crocs without getting the opposite hand on the mat is tough, at that point I would toss or swim to spider web and finish there. I usually only try to finish the arm bar if I was able to get to New York first. Basically east coast crocs and invisible crocs are the only crocs I would finish from the guard, the regular croc I would finish in spider web. Although arm crushes are dope from guard :-) Confusing?? Did I lose y'all?
I follow ya and totally agree. the only thing I do differently is get the triangle locked in from invisible crackhead. but once I do that I still zombie. it would be the same thing as getting the triangle lock from invisible collar which I do all the time too. but not everybody can do that so that is why muddy waters is so effective. but we really should figure out an official name for having the triangle with both arms in so we don't always have to say "triangle with both arms in" it would just make life easier :)
its the baby alligator is what i thought it was called
eddie told shinya if he gets the double arm triangle, its game over, so maybe something like that
"Game over" isn't bad, sounds cool. I still like "muck" or something following the muddy waters theme. Ultimately, whatever Eddie decides to call it..
