You've always been unyeildingly positive and supportive to others. He must have been a great man. Love ya Will.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I tried to post last night but it became too difficult.
I lost my Dad in December last year after a long illness. He had been sick for quite a while but the end came very suddenly. I would love to tell you that it gets easier and that everything gets back to normal but that would be a lie in my experience. I'm fortunate to have a loving family, an amazing wife for support as well as a great group of friends but there are still moments when the grief is overwhelming. Life moves on but everything changes and is different. I notice that when something good happens my mind always goes to him and the happiness is turned down just a little bit. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in a state of depression or unable to enjoy life anymore but the highs have just been tempered a bit. We had my daughter's 1st birthday party today and family events are the hardest because he is not here.
Sorry to bring this down a bit but please know that I am sending positive thoughts your way as someone who has been through this recently. I hope you and your family are doing as well as can be expected and I hope that the coming months bring peace and light back to you.
Thanks Marty. We have a lot in common. I visit this forum often. It's a great source of knowledge, humor, and comradery. Brandon and Bobby, we will meet and train one of these days. Love you guys.
