Thanks Josh, we are trying to keep pace with the MTS. Sometimes we have to go slow on the 10thplanetJJ because we have to drill the techniques that are taught by her coach as well. Trying to find the balance between the two is key for us right now. It would be great if she just train no gi, but she does train in the gi also, so we have to spend some time doing Gi stuff as well.

I'm afraid if we take time for kick boxing that it will take time from the JJ. That is why we not really messing with kick boxing yet.
a half hour a day will do wonders for her, she doesnt need any more of that unless she wants to do a kickboxing fight,
Bruce: I know you have been offered a free private lesson by the Barncat. If you were to make the drive to 10th Planet Beaumont I will be willing to match Barncats offer. Free private lesson on kickboxing for her and if you would like I can show you some basics of mitt work also, so you can provide her with a quality training environment. Im not Freddy Roach, but Ive been doing this a very long time and have coached a few fighters to championship belts. Does Cora want to be an MMA fighter?
When we met you at HQ in Feb, she said she doesn't want to do MMA because she doesn't want to ruin her face...LOL I really don't think she want to do that. But what I'm doing is training her how to strike a bite so she can defend herself better. Right now its more of a self preservation more than wanting to get in the cage. But who knows..she is only 10, maybe she will change her mind when she realize how good she can be. Today the muy thai coach gave her a 20 minute lesson after her BJJ and was very impressed how fast she pick up kicking. I hope you like the highlights, I did it as you requested.Quote:
