You totally just dribble your opponents head with your leg, as there head is bouncing up and down off the mat the grip breaks...
No... I also want to know what it is I saw the basketball move mentioned in a thread I think the favorite armbar one
You really don't have to pull them up at all. It can actually be worse when their head is on the mat. You just rapidly straighten the head side leg causing their head to bounce off of the floor. If they keep their head on the floor it is like legal ground and pound...its miserable.
how is this any different that the RLS ( restless leg syndrome )
I do both, one to get the grip away from the body and then that shaking. Im guessing letting them sit up to slam there head down first adds an extra level of douch to the move.
Shaking your opponent helps in a lot of situations like trying to get a second gi grip for a choke. Parkinson's hand as one of my old instructor called it.
Was this shown at a seminar by someone or is it in a MTS somewhere?
This is something I've been playing around with:

Putting torque on the knee to make the opp. let go! :)
Sometimes they tap to it, but it pops up seldom, due to the fact that the knee has to be at a near 90% angle for me to reach it.
Belive it or not, I actually CAN draw, I'm just lazy.. :}
I've never seen it on mts....it's something a lot of people are probably already doing. Brandon mccaghren was the first person I heard call it the basketball.
Awesome pic Joachim lol
haha, thank you! :')
Sean showed it to me last time I was in Gulf Shores. It's even worse than the douchebag. It's damn near impossible to keep hold of your arm while your whole head is rattling, hahaha
LOL damn this video was from along time ago.
The RLS:

Ah, okay. Knew the technique, just didn't know they had named it "The Baskeball" now. I had seen the RLS vid before so I thought the Basketball was something different. Thanks everyone!
They are the same
Nah, deep web is a way of playing spiderweb off of your hip. You uncross your legs and use leg curls to control your opponent. There isn't any material out there on it. Maybe Brandon will post a video of it.
Here is what we are calling the Deep Web. It's a really small variation on the Spider Web position that I have a ton of success with. I give a couple of details on control, as well as finishing the armbar without expending much energy.
I also show what Sean was referring to as The Basketball. It's almost exactly the same thing as what Herzog was calling the Restless Leg Syndrome in the video he posted in this thread.
Let me know what you think!
