I've seen Condit use RG in the past and noticed him using Meathook again last night. Just curious who he trains 10th Planet under/with if anyone knows.

Last night Eddie Bravo said that Condit's BJJ coach trains with Denny Prokopos, and that Denny has been teaching him the rubber guard (the coach, not Condit directly).
That would be Caio Terra.
Does Terra train with Prokopos?
Yes, it was Caio that Eddie mentioned last night.
The springfield moon is also a Caio Terra Affiliate for their Gi program, I know Brian Stubener trains with caio sometimes and has had him there for seminars before they had the gi program. Def safe to say Caio is a friend of the fam :D
Oh me oh my. Caio is learning RG? This is awesome. I'm glad guys are opening their minds. That's kind of a big deal.
Would love to see some Caio vs Denny rolls
Also 10p Sante Fe is something like 45 mins away from Jackson's. I know Tait has some boys that train/trained there. Could also be part of the knowledge train.
Excellent. Good news that Ciao is open to the RG path.
Ciao's gym was a blast to train at. So many different techniques from his students.
I don't know if anyone else has ever noticed Jackson fighters trying RG techs when they get desperate and Jackson berating them for it when they get to the corner but I remember during Stevenson vs Sotiropoulos Joe tried using RG and lockdown a couple of times and as soon as he got back to the corner Jackson said something along the lines of, "Stop trying that fancy shit when you're on your back.". If I'm not mistaken I've seen similar instances occur a few times but I can't remember exactly who/when.
I was under the impression that he only brought caio in for the one camp. He also says on the prime time before he fought gsp that before he brought caio in, he was just using the Jiu Jitsu he had learned from when he first started training. He was using rubber guard long before he started working with caio for sure though. He has been on the meat hook game for a while.
Yeah, I remember him pulling that back in his early WEC days. I'd say he's better at it now, but I'm curious where he started picking it up. He wasn't always at Jackson's out in Albuquerque so maybe his previous gym? Either way still cool to see him be such a beast standing up and so aggressive on the ground, too.
