10th planet website idea???

Yo,

I had an idea for an addition to the 10th planet website.

I was wondering if there could be a 2nd technique section added to the top for the instructors to post there videos in so that they are all grouped together?

Some serious knowledge has been being dropped on a weekly basis (dennys breathing and yoga stuff, brandons monoplata, deep spiderweb, reverse spiderweb, all the 100% stuff out now)

I think that it is a shame that in a week it will all be bumped off the top page of the forum and no one will know about them, but if there was a technique section for the brown and blackbelt instructors then that stuff would always be there.

Or else maybe make a forum post with links to everything and sticky it?

Its easy subscibe to their youtube page. That's how I get most of my videos. Everyday I check all the new uploads and I mark the videos if I want to see them again. I do like your idea but probably to much work.

Can everyone post there youtube account name?

You might be right about it being a lot of work, I think its worth it long term. In a few years that could be 100s of video from every position and if we dont catalog them somehow new people to the forum wont know most of them exist.

I bet Chris Ludington could have this done in 15 minutes.

All I need is the info. I can add a tab in the tech guide (like the warm ups, zogipedia, ronin, etc).

I think its a great idea. It should be moderated by a 10th Planet black belt and it should only be open to a few approved instructors who are qualified to teach technique variations. Unapproved instructors would still be free to post whatever they want on their personal You Tube pages, but the 10th Planet site section should only be techniques that are approved and moderated so we know they are legit.

Plus im really fucking sick of hearing the first 15 seconds of miley cyrus we cant stop everytime i load a youtube video

Eddie put the stipulation down that in order to release a video within our system you must be a Brown Belt with a winning competitive record.

That's the quality control. You should be fine to use the videos that have been listed so far.

So far everything posted came off dennys, brandon, alder, scott ross and Nathans youtube pages

Eddies original rule is Brown and up, but check with the Master :)

Denny's "13" vid post is a good example, Instructor posts a vid on the forum and then there's discussion... If the tech guide list wants to make these technique video threads easier to find/search it's all good as long as its all on the forum...
