Holy shit!
Holy shit!
Well, BJ is definitely my favorite fighter, but man, I am not excited to see him back on TUF, or fighting Frankie again... He SHOULD be a force at 145 if he takes it seriously, I just REALLY hope he does, because my heart can only take so much...
Is this for real? Proof?
MMAWeekly reported it as true, and Dana has confirmed, so it looks like this is happening.
BJ's return has slightly lessened the pain of the metamoris postponement...
This is the best news I've gotten since the chaos that unfolded on Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy let me wanting more. War Penn!
WOW!!
I always heard though that BJ struggled to make 155, how he is going to make 145?
BJ only cuts about 5lbs to make 155. We've always put the blogs up showing what his week to week is like, but 160-162lbs is normal weight during camp, so it's not much of a cut at all. We'll be good to go! I have BJ on BJPENN.com Radio this Friday too, so I'm sure he'll address all of this himself :)
Nothing could make me happier than this! BJ is without question my favorite fighter of all time. Fired up.
So pumped for this fight. I think he only lost to Frankie the first 2 times because he wasn't motivated for it. I think BJ subs him this time! And I'm a FE fan.
Super excited for this! :)
He looked in great shape this year at at the ufc fan expo!! Gonna be a great season !! :)

A well rested, motivated BJ Penn is pure, raw awesomeness that MUST be respected. HYPED!!!
Edgar will (should) beat him easily again!!! :) Edgar didn't cut any weight when they fought at 155.
I hope we see a brand new proper jacked up TRT BJ Penn I really do. That's the only way I see him being competitive with Frankie. BJ has had so long off now.
:)
not excited at all for this. we've already seen edgar win dec twice against penn. why is there a need for a 3rd fight? i hate all the rematches the ufc has been doing over the last couple years
I think for me the crazy part is Penn at 145. Penn could make history here if he can take that belt.
I'm excited for this, with that being said, let's hope bj takes it seriously. Frankie is very well practiced right now and well, let's face it, bj has been known to be lazy. He will have to train extra hard for this, considering he is so out of practice.
I love bj...my concern is that he has nothing to prove or gain anymore...he is a legend no matter what and it seems like he has lost his motivation, hopefully im wrong and he goes on a rampage at 145 before he retires, but i am excited to see if he can relight the fire and be as dangerous as he once was
Not interested.
