Hey guys, so I know this is a jiu jitsu forum, but I know there are a few guys here interested in this fight. I mean if ever there was a boxing match to get excited about, its this. As Dana White put it, 'its a perfect storm for a good fight'.
I am thinking Floyd is going to have a tough start, might get wobbled but I believe he will be in his rhythm by the 3rd round and will be a clinical boxing match from there on out ending in decision. Canelo will be his toughest fight for sure. :)
Of course I'm praying for Canelo to KO Mayweather.. But this will probably be like every one of Mayweathers fights. Unanimous decision...boring. He point spars people. It's a game of tag with him, not a damage contest. Slap boxing is not fun to watch.. They don't even need gloves if they aren't gonna try to hit each other hard. I would fight Mayweather in boxing, no worries, he can't hurt ya, only slap ya.. I would lose a unanimous decision and go out that night looking like I was never in a fight. I leave the gym from sparring in my kids class looking worse than his opponents look after he wins a decision. As you can tell I can't stand Mayweather...
Mayweather has too much skill and experience.
Boxing is DEAD!!! Maybe they can make a small little spark of life again and have Mayweather take a dive. So they can have another big payday.
MW by decision. Canelo has the tools to win the fight. He just has to make it ugly. He has to fight into the clinch, punch out of the clinch, wear MW down. But he's not going to. He's going to try and box MW. And MW is a superior boxer. Mayweather picks his shots. Dances around. Gets the W.
Canelo......... I just want to see MW get his Pompous Ass Kicked!
This is Mayweathers toughest fight in years. Canelo is young and whooping everyone's ass. Mayweather is good because he fights reactionary and counter punches, it's how he knocked out Hatton a fight he was losing on points till he TKO'd him. Mayweather is dangerous but I just can't underestimate a ginger Mexican dude. That is a just a frightening combination for a fighter lol. Should be a very technical bout and I see it ending in one big shot rather than drawing itself out. I got Canelo by KO in round 3 or Mayweather by decision or TKO in round 8.

i used to effing hate floyd. always rooted for him to lose and could never stand how arrogant he was.
then one day i thought to myself "what more does a man need to do to justify being so cocky? he's never lost, almost 40 and beaten just about all the top guys"
now he is going up against maybe his biggest threat who is close to 15 years younger than him. if he wins tonight, well... how can i really say anything bad about him. he has earned his antics and backed up all of his trash talk.
