Around how many matches has she had in her career?
Wow good question, she been competing about 15 months now. On average she has about 3 matches per tournament. And she competes in at least once a month, so I'm guesstimating about 50-60 matches.Quote:

I look at the X-ray, no fractures. Not an injury either, most likely an infection as she is in pain with the slightest touch like that of sunburn. That is why she cant finish that kid from her back. Lab work will figure that out.
it is so irritating to hear the guy coaching against her telling the kid to just hold her down. I don't consider this match a loss.

2 weeks ago, Cora went to the beach in Galveston, Tx with my whole family except me. I didn't go. When they got back, Cora and Kato got sick with fever. We knocked down the fever and was on the mat drilling when Cora told me that her back feels like its burning. I thought it was just sun burn so I dismissed it. Her fever comes and go, last sat she competed with that condition and did OK as you can see by her videos. Then on Thursday of this week, she starts having back pain. On Friday I took her to the Dr and she said it might be just the flu. She got some antibiotic also for it. We also took xray which shows no fracture. Her pain is not that of injury, its more of infection/ viral or something. We will find out what it is on Monday when she go in to do lab work. We didn't plan on competing, but then mid week, Future Fighterz contact me about sponsoring Cora in AGF so we agreed. We were hoping she might be a lot better with the antibiotics and pain killers. So I told Cora we will go, get loosen up, and if she feels she can't do it, she don't have to. So for the 1st match, she tried and I can see the pain on her face as she try to finish up the boy but the pain was so bad that she can't finish it and by mid way through the match, she just want to end it. She just didn't have her back to finish the fight. I pulled her out of the competition after that.Quote:

That wasn't a loss in my eyes, that was another example of a flawed scoring system. Near subs like cinched in triangles should be worth way more points than a pass or sweep. A near sub should be 7 points, sweeps 2, passes 3, mount 4, back 4.

Sounds a LOT like staph. I had it in my knee joint for 2 weeks and 1 general practitioner and a big city ER completely missed it. 104* fever, swelling, hot to the touch, whole body ached. Worst days of my life, bar none. They thought it was fluid on the knee (with a fever? SMH) and sent me to a knee specialist. He looked at it, said no friggin' way and called his friend, the bloodborne pathogen specialist for that city. She saw me on the spot and started an IV on me in her office. Temperature went down 4* in 30min and had to keep the IV in for 10 days. The rest of the details I'll spare you but DO have them test for that, brother!!!Quote:
