MTS 62 now up!!! STUDYING TAPE 3 featuring my roll with Aoki

Knowing and memorizing the steps to the system is crucial but learning the timing and patience required for complete mastery can only be achieved at a high rate by studying many many many rolls. MTS 62 "Studying Tape 3" has about an hour of rolling footage from my recent sparring sessions at HQ. And like Studying Tape 1 & 2, I included commentary for an even greater rate of mastery. I included my roll with MMA superstar Shinya Aoki, tpjj black belt Shigeki Matsuda, UFC veteran Cody Mckenzie & One FC star Eddie Ng plus much much more including tpjj black belt Mike Dewitt's gold medal performance at the Oregon Open and tpjj purple belt Ant Lopez's IBJJF Nationals title match. i love studying tape. it is such an awesome way to pick up on so many little details.

Well that's my Thursday morning sorted. I revisited the last one yesterday actually to see what else I could get from it. Noticed some more stuff but missed loads more. I can't wait to watch it again in a few months to see what new stuff comes to me.

The rolls are SUPER educational for me. Gonna study that shit. :)

It's Renato's butterfly guard pass, I hate to admit it but he's got that down just about as good as you can get it :)

Damn Master Eddie, please do not take this as any form of disrespect....but you've gotten visibly better. I mean I've been watching you for years and the level of ease in which you play your game....it's definitely like you've dialed it in to a new level of skill, presence, confidence, health....everything. Not only was I learning a ton, I was just in awe seeing how you were able to deal with prime athletes with pure consistent technique.

Awesome episode. If the Royler match ever happens, there's just no doubt that there will be no fluke talk afterward.

Brilliant episode. I think the commentated rolls are awesome. This may be one of my favourite episodes ever.

The whole episode is legit. But to see you roll with Shinya Aoki was awesome! Aoki is definitely one of my fav grapplers to watch in mma.

I gotta say....this is my favorite episode of MTS. One of my absolute favorite things to do is get baked, and watch MTS or high level 10PJJ while im on the floor stretching haha. So huge throwing in the commentary too. This is my Friday and Saturday. Get right outta work, smoke, go to my mma class, come home re-apply and watch MTS. Saturday morning yoga, and after smoke, open mat for hours with good music in the background....and UFC tonight. Life is beautiful.

I can't wait to watch this! I love the live rolling sessions with commentary. I learn so much from them.

Re-Watched Studying tape 3 medicated... it's a completely different experience, picked up so much stuff, I didn't before, felt very intune with the commentary too!
