The guy pulled guard, didn't engage and they just chilled awhile. Hit a weird half guard sweep, denny came up and the guy disengaged and accused denny of greasing. Then both guys were given penalties, with the other guy an advantage also, no clue what the fuck that was about. Guy pulled again, chilled and didn't engage. Denny was looking for rolling toe holds buy the guy wasn't really opening up. Another sweep followed by a disengage and another guard pull, more toeholds and time.
I missed the first match sorry
Smh. More guys playing the points game. Such is life. Props to Denny for fighting in a league where the rules don't favor his style and still being true to himself and maintaining his attack style.
Wow, big props to Denny for being such a warrior and flying our flag to the fullest. Hespect!
Saw Rader was in the final. Any idea who hes meeting?

That's exactly how the match went down, time ran out with denny on a straight ankle lock ala the hail mary warm ups. His opponent had 2 legit sweeps but clearly wasn't looking to go after any subs. He swept Denny, stood up and then pulled guard. VERY smart strategy considering it's a point tournament and he had Samir and Rader coming up.Quote:
