Yup happened to me this past spring
Lost once with under 10 secs left up 4-2. I was partly delirious due to exaustion but thought it necessary to try an pass his guard while he was sitting an me standing...lol. got triangled an had to tap. No clue what I was thinking that day.
I learned to pay attention to the clock that day. I blue silver over stupidity.
Shit happens to the best in the world so none of us are immune.
I was up 17-0 and got ankle locked (while in mount) at about the minute mark, tapped with seconds remaining..after my ankle had popped like seven times. It was awful lol. I think I might have it on video

Yeah that's gotta sting. You were dominating and just got lazy in mount for a sec. Bet that never happened again.
I once let a guy dislocate my elbow with like 15 left. I had his back with hooks and he 2 on 1'd my over arm. He straightened it and popped it against his shoulder and chest. I felt like such an idiot that I just took it. My elbow is still jacked.
I had the same issue, got some ART work done on my elbow and its all basically gone. The ART work hurt like a bitch, but so far its been a permanent solution.
That was a pretty crazy transition to the ankle lock
I lost to Matt Riddle like six years ago in double over time he tried a cartwheel pass over my guard in the last second and was given the points as the buzzer went off.... :( very sad, the one that got away....
