Knowing the rules is a good way to be prepared for something like this. As they were lining up this kick I was telling the entire room full of Alabama fans (I'm an Auburn fan) that if it is short he can run it back. And then, BAM!
Sucks for Saban - because I'm sure he thought, well if we miss it, we'll get em in overtime.
Auburn's coaches had them prepared, but by watching the reactions of the Alabama players, they had no idea what was going on until it was too late.
