Yeah, you rarely see someone get beat up from the guard like that. Vovchanchin ko'd a dude from the guard about 15 years ago, and then Day/Belcher and that's pretty much it. I think :)
Couple of those elbows to the ear I thought was going to end it. Props for her hangin in there, she is tough as nails.

Round 1 was probably one of the best displays of striking (from within the guard) that I have ever seen. Jessamyn is going to be a serious problem for a lot of the women in the UFC.
I remember I used to hate watching women's MMA. Not because there was a lack of skill, but because the ref would always stop the fights WAY too soon if there was any damage being done. It seemed like they were being really overprotective. Clearly, that time is over and women are given the respect they deserve to get as bruised and bloody as everyone else.

The second and third (Especially the third) were reminiscent of a Diaz fight. You were just throwing the kitchen sink at Peggy with punches coming from everywhere. It was quite a treat, Jessamyn!
