Just gave you the zombie. Once again. Let me show you how to get out of this white belts guard.
For a sec I thought that James O'Brien II.
Funny
Chris is a bjj black belt who I have routinely run into at Erik Paulson/Catch Wrestling seminars on the east coast over the past several years. He's a really nice guy who is very well versed and has some really great students. He was also at Renato Laranja seminar with me in Connecticut a few years back... No joke!
Yaaa.. About that.. First it would help if he did mission control right lol.
There are still lots of black belts who are unfamiliar with the rubber guard. This isn't really a defense against rubber guard. It's defense against grab your ankle without breaking and controlling posture guard.
I'm zombie'n the shit outta that right arm, or when he punches rescue dog.
smh
Everything Ive thought was real was a lie. Im jumping ship and heading over to Mastre Laranja :(
He should have read Mastering The Rubber Guard.... or got one stripe on his white belt before making this video.
You can throw punches if your not controlling someone's posture? Didn't know that.
honestly i just really dislike the green lantern was never my cup of tea
But.. my.... rubberguard :( what will I do
..Well its a good thought. With a tight MC you wont be able to posture like that though. Seems like what he's doing with his right arm would actually neutralize the Zombie. I dunno though. Would have to try it
Im just thinking bicep control in guard is not at all rare. Im sure we all know how to deal with that, maybe you dont like spiking people with your elbow like me but it shoundnt just shut down your arm, it should be a fight for them at the least. Am I wrong?
i suppose i just meant that he wouldn't be able to do much with his left, before losing bicep control and letting you get to your knee, which would also mean closing distance.
Your right leg is what jams his punches, not your MC arm. As soon as your opponent throws his left hand, your right leg, like a spring, should be chasing his left punch, ending immediately in either a triangle or a high crackhead. Then hit a zombie on his right arm then muddy waters is there for you. :-)
I fuckin' swear to god I was gonna say that. :)
