But, with that said, the first video, with all the blatant determinism, desperately pandering shock value with that old worn out phallic theme, I find, not only to be mere cheap cliche, but borderline disturbing. I wouldn't want that wanna be thug, retard as my next door neighbor.

The song is actually about tribal circumcision that is done as a right of passage for men in South Africa. The black rapper "Wanga" is an ostracized member of such a tribe. He refused the right of passage and his entire tribe turned on him, referring to him as the "Evil Boy" mentioned in the song. Circumcision done at teenage years can cause horrible disfigurement, sexual impotence, infection, and sometimes death.

At first I thought that the song was just pure shock value but when you understand the context it is actually a very progressive and forward thinking concept against a brutal tribal practice.
