Cool idea for a tournament, coulda been ran alot smoother, but was still fun. The people were very nice and polite. but, the rules were very unclear and changed numerous times. Even at the end of the tournament nobody knew what subs were legal... They were so bad they caused one guy to get mad and storm off and left during the comp! But, Barncat only attempts non-controversial moves and is extremely respectful. While this represents 10p very well with good etiquette and honorable combat, it takes away his go-to move, knot heel-hook! 2nd competition in 7 days too, I'm sore from all the long car trips so frequent, and I didn't even compete in any of em.
Just got this match up. I ended up winning the "decision" against this (much heavier/ they combined almost all the weight classes) guy. There was also a weird half guard restart that got me mounted for a second... but still got some decent matches out of this event...
