Gabby will be out there...I'm going to try an make it out but won't compete without being able to use leg locks. Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Gabby gets DQ'd too. Reaping is just in our muscle memory at this point thus why we really don't do any tourneys with ibjjf rules anymore.

Kinda apprehensive. Last two sub only tournaments I did I had two thirty minute matches that sucked balls. At least I am guaranteed a loss of it goes to fifteen lol

The Salt Lake Grappling Club and Whiskey and Chokes Podcast will be making the long drive and bringing down a few ronin to take our beatings.
We should have two guys (including me) @ Black 185 lbs, one guy @ Blue 185 lbs, and one guy @ Purple 170 lbs.
An instructor from another Salt Lake gym will probably be with us as well. I think he will be at Black 185 or 170.
We got 7 guys coming from Santa Fe.
Last I heard from Rose we got 130 10p soldiers competing. Insane number, pure epicness, can't wait :-)
Costa Mesa/Buena Park will be there
Phoenix will be there. We're bringing 6 for the comp :)

I just signed up. This is my first tournament since I did the 9 months and under division at Best of The West in May of 2008.
I been hearing about Gracie Nationals for the adults, but are there any kids in this tournament. I know its a 2 days tournament for Gi and No Gi. But are there any kids? I really want other options other than IBJJF Kid Pan. Because IBJJF kid pan, they can't even do chopping block, electric chair, omoplata... I mean, why we even bother going?? Just want other option to find the best competition for my kid.
Yes, there are kids divisions.
Looks like we will now be two guys in the black 185,one purple 185, and one purple 170.
