Dressed in her pink dress, looking like a prissy bobby doll playing little girl, Cora starts her day off by singing the National Anthem. Then we watched some amazing kids displaying some incredible Jiu Jitsu. At noon, it was show time.... the 11 year old bracket started.... enjoy.

After two 9 minute matches and only 6 minutes to rest, Cora was in the Finals against one of her Future Fighterz friend from New York. Not to mention she's giving up about 25-30 lbs. Right now I'm so jealous of her jiu jitsu skills. '-' I'm 34 years old and I've grappled for more than ten years, how come she's better technically than I am? :'( *Runs away crying*
Good job but i hope she starts to try a couple of different guards. rubberguard is of course the best for close and half. But for open guard xguard and de la riva

yes Cora knows the Dead Orchard and have done it in the past. In her 1st match, she was going for it, but I guess the boy's camp have been watching her videos as he was making it so hard for her to get that arm or even put his arm to the mat. She fought really hard just to zombie. So I'm thinking they were well prepared for her.Quote:

Just so anyone notice, yes the 10thplanet patch came off last week, that is why it's not on. We waiting for her sponsor gi to come in to put another patch on. So happen I just notice that Master Eddie patches came off to on the new MTS.

Just because they are fighting for posture and not letting there shoulder get trapped, doesn't mean they are studying her videos. She is facing better comp. This is how good competitors grapple.

she is so good, i love watching her vids, she is game as a badger and never stops fighting from start to finish, she also listing to all the instructions from her coaches and does what they say instantly, im always impressed watching her, well done Cora.

BTW we been working on this like Marcelo. But somehow Cora seem to be getting warning of this move. Is this reaping? Need to know so we can stay away from it or maybe find a way to make it legal?? So far we been using it for sweeps and getting out of being mounted. Sometimes we combine this with Jean Jacque mount escape. Also we going into X guard from this position.

That's not a reap. If the heel is turned in, it can't pass the belly button. But Erics right about refs bein overly cautious on younger brackets.
The rules don't really matter. The refs are sovereign on the mat. Its all subjective to the refs views, interpretation, and personal opinion of the rule. This leaves a huge variant.
That's one legged xguard and a great legal position in ANY tourney.
