HereŽs the revised version of the "Wax Off" DŽarce and Japanese Neck Tie defense that I promised. Of course I forgot to show when people want to mount when they have the DŽarce:-(
I hope it makes more sense:cool:http://youtu.be/L51fq8eEhDc

Awesome thanks for the video
Great video. Cool details on applying the d'arce and feeling them reaching. I also like the talk about prevention. Good stuff.
Good details! Thanks.
Thank you guys! I hope you understand my Swenglish:-)
I know I'm a bit late to the party here but what is your counter to the vice grip control from the bottom turtle position, i.e. before your opponent starts torquing your head and turning you to your side. I get cooked here and I'm not sure how to get out. Thanks! And awesome details in this vid!
I'm not sure how often Magnus checks on here, so I figured I'd try to help. Check out this thread:

I think it contains the solutions to the problem you're having. Good luck. Hope I helped.
Thanks alot! That was the just the type of thing I was looking for!
I prefer this over the picture day. Most guys can smash through picture day. well done
This is a strong technique. Nice job.
If people are powering through your picture day defense something is wrong. I've tested it against our best Darce players and against our Black Belts, even letting them lock it all the way in. It's most likely your initial posture. Try to engage your hip into your posture.
I've had 100% success so far with the picture day, and so have most of they guys I've shown the move to. Only complaint from a few is that picture day doesn't relieve the crank pressure (only the choke). For me it's never a problem though.
Wax Off looks great, definitely trying it.
