Awesome. As a white belt, getting the mount is a rare treat and it usually disappears shortly after so this was really useful for me. Thanks and I hope to make a short trip to Sweden and come and visit you guys later this year.
Magnus my man! It's great having you make these videos. They cover a lot of really interesting concepts and you don't neglect teaching the details of all the basics.
Great video like always! Thanks for sharing wisdom!
This is awesome!!!
Thanx you buddy!!:-)
Thank you very much for the videos.
You have a real gift for teaching!
Magnus is really technical he has such a great game 10P Birmingham are gonna find ourselves in Stockholm again before too long, awesome people. Thanks Magnus
Great video...thanks a ton!!! I get to mount, but when I get there...sometimes I struggle knowing what I want to do. Now I have options to put others where I want them! Great stuff.
No worries your English is great!!!
thank you all for the Kind words:-) I have so much to show and if anyone of you have some problems with certain positions or need help regarding any aspect of jiu jitsu please just ask and I will do a video:-) 10P4L.
( btw for you guys who do Gi Im starting to do some Mastering the system with a Gi, starting off we the hardest part Rubber guard)
These are some fantastic concepts Magnus!
A few of these I learnt a few years back from a Jean Jaques black belt, but your overall mount game speaks to me stylistically.
You're videos are great, and don't be so hard on yourself your English isn't so bad.
Your accent gives the videos that Magnus flavour haha.
Great stuff, dig that big foot control.
Thank you for sharing :)
Love that switch from Quarter Guard, nice one!
OOh boy Im telling you the "Big Foot" is really a Quarter guard killer
whenever i get in mount, i haer maagnus' voice shouting in my ear. being dominated by it so bad over and over made me make it my game.
do you go for any submissions from bigfoot magnus? or do u just wait for them to let go? can u fake something to make them think something is coming and take their mind off it?
thanks again for the vids, keep them coming.
Was repping this with some students yesterday. I'd never done the skydive before, so was showing them it and they all loved it. Later, we were sparring and I tapped someone out with a skydive - is this normal? I used the leverage of my legs to drive my hips into their abdomin and they tapped out. Wasn't someone who had only been training for a week or something either, but a guy who has been with us a while...
Regardless, thank you so much for this. Really helped.
well.. the sky dive is more a position to ride out the storm when people try to escape and let them spend some energy while you are putting one some pressure. Donīt think nobody would tap just of the pressure alone, if they do! they have to be really tired or you twice the size:-).
