Awesome move kinda grimey but still legal always great to see traditional jiujitsu techniques work in modern mma.

Jones is one mean dude. Finger pokes, knee kicks, nasty standing locks... wouldnt want to fight him! lol
DUI garami? What's the name of this again??
DUI? Really autocorrect.. Really? *Udi
He was going hard into that too
Waki Gatame; Aoki used this move during a shooto fight.
No, the waki gatami is different. I'm pretty sure it's an old school rising shoulder lock. Straight out of jjj or kuk sool won. Jones was ripping it too... Doesn't look right being muscled. Frank Mir probably will never be topped as his was beautiful!
It's defiantly a waki-gatame done with a whizzer. There are several grip/clinch variations of waki-gatame with the whizzer is one of them. Aoki used them all the time, its was a standard in Judo for a number of years then was made illegal.
It was generally done in combo with the throw O-guruma as a way to dislocate the shoulder instead of the throw itself.
Nasty, nasty, nasty
Seems rather cruel and unusual to me :o
John Hackleman is crying about this now. Says Jones deformed Glovers arm.
Man's a genius.
I know its fucked up, but I like that. Cause it's a fight, like your objective is to hurt the other dude. I'm waiting for the day someone breaks someones knee with that forward knee kick thing. idk if that makes me an asshole, but I think his head is in the right spot lol
Its a pretty versatile lock. FWIW I don't see anything wrong with using it at all, I use it myself.
I don't have a problem with nasty arm locks. There's nothing in the rules about not being mean. But I do have a problem with his constant eye poking.
