You're on fire, dude. You're gonna do really well at EBI.
Wow, there's a few really slick transitions in there, nice!
I have a question, in your first match while it's still standing you're inserting your butterfly, what are you looking for there?
Whoa, 4:20 hahaha nice!
Love that Kimura and working that stomp to get to guard.
Dang that hail mary rolling kimura to spiderweb was smooth as butter.
you are going to set EBI on fire.
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaayaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam Orchard your game is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiik
Nice work Nathan!
Very impressed.
Damn homie. I love that armbar defense grip break. Never seen it before.
I'm glad you noticed that. I call it the zip tie. Right now it is my number one finish in spider web.
I play off of over hooks a lot so I bait the single leg just so I can get the over hook. He didn't take the bait this time but I use that little trick a lot. It's crazy how many options there are off the over hook tho. And thanks for the support guys. I can't even explain how important this team and family is in my life.
Ya that grip break was money. I used to chew gum when I roll too but someone told me it was a choking hazard, I'm bringin it back now!
when you press start and the time says 1:09 you all ready know nasty
fuck dude, couple of beatdowns
i really liked the guy's reaction to the match in the second. i wish i had that much grace in defeat.
Can't wait to watch!
Are you going to do a seminar while your in LA? I'd like to know more about the kimura you used in the first match, that was awesome the way you locked it up while you were on bottom in side control. It looked like initially you put his left wrist on his far hip to set up an arm bar, when he tucked his arm in to block the arm bar, you did a similar motion to the rolling kimura, then brought his left wrist to his left hip. I am curious to see what other paths you take from there, once you got the kimura grip the sub seemed pretty inevitable, seemed like you were just waiting to see which path he gave you?
Very inspiring
I also have been trying out your Russian throw, sickness
God damn that was a smooth rolling kimura to the armbar! cant wait for the seminar!
That grip break was slick. You're my hero Orchard.
Rediculously nasty... Zip Tie eh, Ill be remembering that one
Dude, awesome!! I'll be pulling for you at EBI.
Question: isnt that armbar grip break called the filhio? Dont know if my memory is failing me.
Way to go!
Not the Filho. Effective nonethaless.
No hesitation..
http://youtu.be/jaOKIzTdY78 a little different. The thing about the way I do it is if they are able so slip the arm I'm attacking out, it goes right into reverse spider web
My bad Nathan, I thought it was the Filhio. But yes, I have seen it before. It's an awesome move! I was just discussing it with someone the other day...
Great job again bro!
Sucks you didn't break a sweat :-/
Maybe next time :-)
Lol ^
Good Work Nathan, killing it out there.
