Milton Viera is a legend. Pretty cool to see this added option to the game. Any of you rolling kimura guys use the leg choke?

I don't do a leg scissors, but I do it to the Judo side Triangle Choke.
I do the scissors more than the triangle, but I'm slowly using the triangle more and more. Skaff kills with the triangle from there. He put me out cold with it about a week ago.
We def have a good amount of leg scissors and rolling kimuras goin on in chicago, both slick rick and geo have taught rolling kimura paths during their seminars here.. Awesome legit stuffs. The leg scissor is deceptively strong, ive seen more than one person put to sleep with it not realizing the danger they were in...
I've been in this position (Getting Head Scissored) Multiple times. It's very powerful
I 69'd scissored Sam Davis for like 3 minutes this weekend. It was a Mexican standoff. Whoever let go first was conceding bottom side. We bith have skinny legs so it was just annoying with no choke on both ends.
Milton put me here and I didn't feel overly threatened. I am fairly larger than him, and who knows how seriously he was pursuing the choke though. I've never been put in serious danger by leg scissors, but I have seen people get put out with it so there must be something to it.
Scissor me timbers. So many new toys to play with. I already overuse the rolling kimura, but I usually take the back or armbar. Now I'll have to see if my malformed dinosaur legs will be suitable for this finish.
The head scissor gets zero respect (probably because it looks like something out of GLOW) but I think its a very underutilized and sneaky submission. We usually set it up from side while attacking the farside arm with fake Kimuras or far side arm bar but you can really catch it from anywhere. Don't sleep on it...its completely legit. It was one of the first moves Gabby learned when she was 11...I was pretty new to jitz at the time and got choked the fuck out by a blue belt who used this on me. I it was so fast and so tight i had a sore throat for a week. Gabby thought it was hilarious and of course needed to learn the move. Ill post some examples of her hitting it in competition from different positions.

L Ron Hubbard that's insane.
When I completely extend my legs and my knees touch, there is still a gap between my thighs. Just can't close it off. No arm tri with a gag relex works for me tho.
I hardly ever finish a regular Kimura anymore because of all options that come off the control. I am always looking for the head scissor choke, triangle choke, arm bar and reverse spider web when I lock up a Kimura. My favorite transition is going from the head scissor choke to the triangle on the back door if they turn their head to defend.
Skaff kills with this. KILLS.
I hit that today and just saw this post! :) yeah its an awesome set up.
