Damn....I think the Sonnen V Galvao match is a bit of a publicity stunt to help match or top (even though M3 will never be topped :cool:) but it will be interesting to watch nonetheless if Sonnen engages and doesn't pull a Schaub. Im much more interested in the Lister V Barnett match. If Lister stays aggressive and not as lax as he was against Babalu it should be great. The trailer said "heavyweight title"? Are they going to have champions now? That would be pretty dope.
Damnnnnn!!!!! I can't wait, shaping up for another awesome event, 2 matches I'm sure alot of people will be interested in. I'm definitely more excited about the lister Barnett match
BJJ needs to grab the attention of the huge market of MMA fans. This is a great step in that direction. Many MMA fans who have never watched a BJJ match before will be tuning in. If the fights turn out to be fun to watch, it will turn a lot of these MMA fans into BJJ fans.
Can't wait. We'll have this projected up on the wall again for sure! Curious as to what the massive event for M5 will be that Ralek has mentioned?

I would love it if Sonnen beat Galvao, but I definitely wouldn't bet on it. And Barnett v Lister is pretty much the awesomest match I can conceive.

The only thing about Sonnen is that he has failed no three drug tests and his last one was full of lots of banned substances (human growth hormone (HGH), recombinant human erythropoietin, anastrozole and human chorionic gonadotropin). IMO BJJ does not need that.
Public perception, regardless of personal thoughts, may see Chael as a cheater and a fraud...having a more "reputable" person with less of a steroid issue might be better for the sport.

I agree with Ben, i just hope Sonnen don't fight like Brendan Schaub that was a shame. Obviously , fight with Galvão will be very hard thing cause Sonnen was a long time focus on MMA, the grappling training were from MMA matches, while Galvão has been in BJJ tournaments recently, but found very brave of Chael to at least try ! I'm not saying Galvão is gonna win, but the chances of that happens is bigger than the chances of Sonnen win, but we never know, fight is not predictable , it can surprise us, or not ...

Chael definitely won't run. he won't win, but he won't run. He wants to help the sport and he will do his best given the rule set, but without doing anything clearly stupid or risky. Andre Galvao isn't a huge finisher in nogi, but he just took Braulio Estima's back and choked him. I see this going the same way, or perhaps Galvao attacking the turtle with an armbar from the back, or sliding in a darce choke. I don't predict any triangles or armlocks from guard, as Galvao primarily plays open guard in nogi and looks to sweep. I'm excited to see what happens. I do think Chael's BJJ is probably better than people think. But draw or Galvao sub by RNC, armbar, or darce.

Oh, i believe he would not run , i'm trying to say that its really hard when you training always focused on MMA and you gotta change to fight in a grappling contest, different from André that is fighting on grappling contest recently, but Chael is an excellent wrestler , never doubt that.
