Earned my purple belt on Saturday!

I earned my BJJ purple belt on Saturday from my instructor Brad Maddox and his instructor Marcello Monteiro! This is without a doubt one of if not my greatest accomplishment in my entire life! I literally owe everything good in my life today to BJJ! It gave my life the direction and purpose that it drastically needed and has helped me transform my life from something very negative into a life that is positive, incredibly fun, exciting, and rewarding! I'm so grateful for all of the people who have helped me on my BJJ journey especially all of my brothers here on the Nibiru forum!
This forum and the early MTS episodes were my first exposure to BJJ outside of watching MMA! If I hadn't heard Eddie and Joe espousing the virtues of BJJ on the JRE it's unlikely that I would have ever dove in to the world of grappling and had my life inexorably changed for the better! Thanks to everyone here for helping me get inspired to begin training and for the continued inspiration to improve!
