Interesting that your attacking the other leg...haven't seen it done that way Brandon I will have to play with this one. I go to 50/50 from deep half often but its on the leg I'm controlling. Ill go xguard from deep half and then elevate his leg as high as possible and grab his ankle and pull it through while pushing both my legs straight. works like a charm. Ill post a vid tomorrow if you want. I like both ways and can see using both of these to keep my opponent guessing.
I have a same leg deep half entry entry that I use, too. It's super slick. I bet we are doing the same thing or at least the same idea.Quote:

Yep deep half entry to 50/50 on the same leg. I'll post it tomorrow an tell me if it's the same thing you are doing. It's tricky tricky.
I went back and watched the MTS version. This is the same technique, with a couple of different details and some different ideas on entry and Spiral Guard context. I think it can work as a supplement to MTS 39.
